Carmen first joined All Creatures Veterinary Hospital as an intern in 2023, working during her summer and winter breaks from college. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology with minors in chemistry and animal health and is currently working with us full-time as she pursues her goal of becoming a veterinarian. Her eagerness to learn, gain hands-on experience, and jump in wherever needed has made her a valuable member of our team.

Carmen grew up surrounded by animals, and frequent visits to her sister’s job at a pet store helped inspire her passion for animal care. She has two dogs of her own: Eva, a 9-year-old German Shepherd who is a frequent flyer at ACVH, and Piccolo, a 7-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd who has a flair for the dramatic and knows just how to twitch his way into getting attention.

Outside of work, Carmen enjoys traveling to visit friends, attending concerts, listening to music of all genres, and watching true crime shows and podcasts. She also loves spending time with family and her dogs and is always up for trying a new coffee drink!
