Effective January 1, 2023

Due to the increase in late cancellations and no-show appointments, All Creatures Veterinary Hospital now requires 24 hours’ notice for the cancellation of appointments. When clients cancel without notice or don’t show up for appointments, it is too late to give the time slot to another patient who needs care.

Scheduled Appointments
If an appointment is canceled under 24hours or no showed the following will apply:
• A deposit of $45 is required to re-schedule, and it will be applied to the bill when the charges for the visit are paid.
• If the rescheduled appointment is missed, the deposit will be processed as a cancellation fee, and a new deposit will be required to reschedule a second time.

Scheduled Surgeries
As you might imagine, there are several components to preparing for a surgical procedure, and a last-minute cancellation or no show impacts our entire surgery schedule. That’s why we now have the following requirements when this happens for surgeries:
• Late cancellations or no show surgeries will require a $100 deposit to reschedule.
• If the rescheduled procedure is missed, the deposit will be processed as a cancellation fee, and a new $100 deposit will be required to reschedule a second time.

*Extensive elective surgeries that require us to block off the surgery schedule require a 5 business-day notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
