There are two tiers of coverage offered depending on your position with us:
- Tier 1: Doctors & Management (Fully paid by employer)
- Tier 2: Hourly employees ($200 Covered by Employer)

Paid Leave Accrual

All permanent full-time employees who have completed at least 1 year of continuous service with the hospital are eligible to accrue paid
leave benefits.Part-time employees, temporary employees, and employees on a leave of absence do not accrue vacation benefits.
Paid Holidays

We observe six paid holidays during the year:
Full-time employees are entitled to eight hours pay for each holiday. Part-time employees are not entitled to holiday pay benefits.

After one year of employment, each employee is entitled to a paid day off for their birthday if that day falls during the regular work week that year.
Continuing Education

Veterinarians are given up to twenty-four (24) paid hours and $1500 toward expenses for approved continuing education programs.
Registered Veterinary Technicians are given sixteen hours and $500 toward expenses for approved continuing education programs.
Reduced Rate Veterinary Services & Supplies

- Any employee who has completed the 90-day introductory period will be entitled to a 50% reduction in price for surgeries, treatments, anesthetics and hospitalization for their pets. Lab work will be billed to the employee at cost plus 10% as long as it is performed when the employee is off the clock.
- $100 towards pet cremations thru Trails End Cremation.
- Pet food and supplies may be purchased at the hospital’s cost plus 10%. Employees may also use food coupons from distributors if available.
